For those of you who closely follow my blog, you know that we have been making baby steps in the #2 department of potty training. We've had several successes over the past week or two-more than we have had accidents, which is a big change. On Friday night, Jeff was at the store and I was upstairs putting Griffin to bed so Claire was downstairs watching Sesame Street by herself. When Jeff came home (before I had come downstairs), he was greeted by a very proud and estatic Claire, letting him know that she had pooped in the potty all by herself! Not only that, but she also dumped it and flushed it! We were super proud of her for doing it all on her own while we weren't around. Claire is now the proud owner of a new Fancy Nancy book!
Funny side note to this story....before I went upstairs, Claire told me that her tummy hurt. I told her it was probably because she ate too many popcicles that night. She was quick to say, "Oh no, Mommy. A popcicle would make my tummy feel ALLL better right now" :) haha!
