While driving last night, I decided to show Claire the moon. We had a full moon so it was not hard to spot. I told her to look above the trees in the sky and she would see a big white circle, and that was the moon. She spotted it and then proceeded to ask why the moon was moving so fast. It took me a minute of being confused to realize that she thought the moon was moving when in actuality, it was our car that was moving. You should have heard me trying to explain that in the most simple way I could to a 2 year old. I don't know if I was successful or not :) I'm sure we'll be able to tell the next time we're driving down the road and see the moon. If this was tough, I can only imagine the questions to come!
