Around 12:45am last night, the dogs, who sleep in their crate in our room, started barking like crazy. Naturally, Jeff and I popped up in the bed and were freaked out as to what or who was making them bark, as I can't remember the last time they have even made a peep in the middle of the night. When we looked up, we saw Claire in our doorway. This is the first time she's ever gotten up in the middle of the night and come to our room. Jeff scooped her up and took her back to her room. He was rocking her in her chair when he noticed that she was holding something in each of her hands. Can you believe what he found? An EGG in each hand! Apparently our bedroom was not the first stop Claire made last night! Sure enough she had gone straight downstairs, into the refrigerator, and taken 2 eggs out. Then, she brought them all the way back upstairs with her. We were just amazed that they made it so far unbroken! After Jeff got her to sleep, and safely returned the eggs, he came back and told me what happened and we just laid there laughing and laughing-unbelievable!
