Griffin turned 2 weeks old yesterday! How did we celebrate you ask? With a trip with me to good ole' Babies-R-Us while Claire was at the park with Jeff and a trip to the library to check out some books (Big fun for a 2 week old, right? He didn't seem to mind though, as he peacefully slept during both trips). Claire was in hog heaven at the library! As you guys know, she loves to read! She checked out 12 books and I even found 2 to read myself.
Today we went to the doctor for Griffin's 2 week check up and he got a glowing report! He's back to his birth weight of 8lbs 10oz, which made us very happy, and his umbilical cord fell off yesterday so now he has a cute little belly button in the making :) He also took a bottle for the first time yesterday-from Jeff-not me. But hey, its better than not taking one at all! He took another one from at the doctor's office today since he was starving by the time we finished up. We're going to work on him taking one from me eventually!
Tomorrow is Claire's Open House for Preschool and she's so excited! We're hoping that some of her friends from last year might be in her class......stay tuned!
