Griffin had a great visit today with our pediatrician. He has grown so much! At 2 weeks he was back to his birth weight of 8lbs 10oz and today he was 10lbs 6oz! He had also grown 3/4 of an inch since his birth so he's up to 22 inches long. Its a good feeling as a mommy to know that your child is growing and healthy! His percentiles were 50th for head and 75th for both height and weight. He only had to get 1 shot, his 2nd Hepatitis B shot, so that was good. He is starting on a multi-vitamin that we give him once a day through a dropper. Additional good news is that he never had thrush, only a build-up of milk residue on his tongue that we can easily wipe off ourselves. He has offically moved out of newborn diapers and is up to a size 1. We got some great tips on dealing with the "terrible twos" and Claire's new role as a big sister from our doctor as well. Thanks to Mama for watching Claire while we went to Griffin's appointment and so that I could go get my hair done! She brought Ash with her to meet Griffin for the first time-her first great grandson and the first boy on the Lilley side of the family in a very long time! Griffin's next visit will be when he is 2 months-time needs to slow down! I am SO not ready to leave him and go back to work!
