As of this past Saturday, I am 28 weeks along! THIRD TRIMESTER!!! This week I go to the doctor for my check up and the routine gestational diabetes test. I have to drink the "flat orange kool aid" as I like to call it, but this time they gave it to me to bring home from my last appointment and I get to drink it on my way. That will eliminate me having to drink it when I get there and wait and hour to take the test. Hopefully everything will be fine-it was with Claire. I think I start going every two weeks after this appointment, which is exciting and nerve racking at the same time, only because that means I am that much closer to giving birth....but best of all, having Griffin here with us! I have decided in comparing pictures to when I was pregnant with Claire, that I am definitely carrying lower and more in the front, if that makes any sense to those of you who have carried differently between pregnancies. I have heard that similar difference from other people who had a girl and a boy. Other than that, I have to say that everything is pretty much the same. I know Griffin is bigger than Claire at this point; as I said in my last update, he was measuring in the 88th percentile at my last visit's ultrasound. Claire never measured above the 50th percentile. Who knows though-let's hope it all evens out by the time the big day comes (for my sake!) haha :) Here are some bump pictures from the past 3 weeks!
26 weeks 5 days-torpedo belly in the morning! He must have been laying with his feet sticking straight out at my belly button!
Same day-no more torpedo-he obviously turned during the day!
27 weeks 6 days
28 weeks 1 day--and VERY HOT! :)
