Is it just be or has this pregnancy absolutely flown by?! I am down to less than 9 weeks until Griffin's proposed arrival! I am going to the doctor every 2 weeks and everything seems to be going well so far-we are so thankful for another easy pregnancy and another healthy baby! I am still feeling really good, despite the heat-being outside in the 100 degree temps is a little rough so I try to stay cool. My blood platelets were a little low after some bloodwork about 3 weeks ago, so my doctor is going to check it again when I go back next week, just to keep an eye on it. There isn't anything harmful or alarming about it, but if the numbers are too low at the time of labor, they can't give you an epidural-which for me, is extremely alarming!!!!! I need that epidural! She told me not to worry about it so I'm thinking positive thoughts and telling my body to produce tons of platelets on a daily...no make that hourly...basis! Apparently there's a good chance it was a lab error and even if it wasn't, the readings can change on a daily basis. Here is a picture of me at 31 weeks. Griffin is really an active little boy-he moves around like crazy-I'm going to miss those rolls and kicks in my belly in a few weeks!
Claire's 2 year well visit was last week. She was perfectly healthy and we got a great report. She was so brave and hardly had any tears at all! She's still in the 90th percentile for height at 35.5 inches tall, 70th for weight at 28lbs, and her head is still in the 90th as well. We were so happy to get such a good report on her and can't believe her next well visit isn't until she turns 3!
