This past week, Claire took a ballet and tap class for 4 nights-its a little "camp" they offer to see if your child likes it and would want to do it full time in the fall and spring. I don't know if we are ready to commit to something so full time (every single Saturday morning, September-May) but if the first class (see pictures below) was any indication, Claire LOVES it. Its a 45 minute class and they spend half of the time doing tap and half of the time doing ballet. All I can say is that its freaking adorable. And funny. 2 and 3 year olds in ballet outfits and tap shoes, trying to do things in sync-you get the picture! Claire was one of the most coordinated in the class and again followed directions really well. They even had them come up and practice what they had learned individually....pretty intense for the first night :) Claire was the line leader when they marched around the room-she was so proud!
