We decided Claire was old enough to take on her first Easter Egg Hunt this year so we thought what better place to have it than our own backyard! While Claire was taking her nap, I "hid" the eggs and when she was done with her lunch we set out on our hunt! She got the hang of it right away and once she realized that some of the eggs had surprises in them (like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, etc. figurines) she was stoked! She was very serious the whole time, like she was on a mission-haha! She got to the point that once she opened the egg and realized it did not have anything in it, she'd throw it back on the ground and move on to the next one! Patsy and Mike brought her an Elmo Easter Basket so she was thrilled to be carrying that around with her to get the job done! She also loved the candy she sampled, as you can see from her face and hand in the pictures below! What a perfect day-we couldn't have asked for better weather!
